The special thing about the vacation home concept: although the Haus am Berg appears traditional and old-fashioned from the outside, the interiors have been modernized and updated throughout for your comfort as a guest.

The house on the mountain (vulgo Gsoll) is located in the so-called Nestelberg settlement. Even in the old days, Nestelberg was one of the “loneliest settlements of the Ötscher region”, and our vacation home at Gsoll is located at an altitude of almost 1,000 meters above sea level. Experience the Ötscher “first row foot-free”!

Are pets allowed?
Yes, pets are allowed on request. We only charge a flat rate of € 25,- per animal which covers the additional cleaning effort.
Is "Das Haus am Berg" easily accessible by car?
Despite the unique quiet location, the chalet is accessible by vehicles without restrictions. There is an asphalt road to the object directly.
Can I park my/our car?
Yes, parking is possible free of charge directly on the premises of the cottage. A charging facility is available for e-cars.
Is there TV and Wi-Fi in the cottage?
The cottage has modern SmartTVs. “HD Austria” is available and can be used free of charge. In addition, the SmartTV supports your streaming apps, such as Sky or Netflix. The WLAN internet connection can also be used free of charge.
Is the cottage preheated?
Yes, the house is pre-tempered according to the season during your stay. The object has electric heating (infrared) as basic heating, the wood heating for the “cozy fireplace effect” is additional. In other words, it is not a “rustic cottage”, but a comfortably modernized farmhouse.
Is there a whirlpool? What is offered/provided in terms of wellness?
Yes, a Ducktub Oval brand “hot tub” can be used all year round. A highlight of the house is also the recently added panoramic sauna. We provide one set of bath towel/towel per person. Sauna fragrances are available. Please bring your own wellness utensils (such as bathrobes, etc.).
Is there drinking water and food available?
Yes, you can enjoy drinking water (tap water) of high quality. Otherwise it is a self-catering chalet, but basics like salt and pepper are of course provided as well.
Is the cottage child friendly?
Yes, we are a child and family friendly accommodation. Special goodie: children’s bicycles in various sizes (from a running bike to a 20-inch bike; for kids up to 10 years old) are provided on request.
Does the WC meet modern hygiene standards?
Yes, the toilet looks traditional only at first glance. The toilet has a flush and meets the usual hygienic standards of today.
What is the ideal and maximum occupancy of the object?
We consider the ideal occupancy to be 2 to 6 people – i.e. small groups, couples or families. However, as a maximum occupancy is quite possible up to 10 people . Recently we have been able to realize a third full bedroom. Moreover, in addition to the 3 comfort double beds in the bedrooms, you have the possibility to use a pull-out couch and several extra beds. For larger groups, experience has shown that this is a viable solution.
